Assignment 1 – Redesigning logo

I'm going to redesign, using Illustrator, a known international logo and customize it to fit local culture or local settings. In other words, i'm to re create a company logo to fit the localise conditions. For example, the company Shell, a Dutch company, designed the oil company logo based on their national colours. What if i was to redesign it based on local national colours or local meaning of the word shell and so on.

Documentation to be done on the BLOG

(1) Include the RESEARCH you have done on the company of choice (add the web links). Select the international company and show their current logo. Only logos made from shapes not text.
(2) Include the idea of the new logo, its new meaning and so on based on local culture. This could be similar to the write-up.
(3) Include designs, sketches, references or images that you use to create your logo, tools that you used and the final output.
(4) Tools used. You are to EXPLAIN the tools that you used and learnt from the tutorials and EXPLORED.

Hello, Welcome!

Hello everyone.. welcome to my 'all about the task' blog.. What are the purpose of this blog?

1. I really need this blog to fulfill my Computer Graphic assignment requirement.
2. I can now, know my friends' assignment progress, so i can get and put more idea into my assignment.
3. My both lecturer can also view my progress in here!
4. And also to ensure there is no copying and similar logo between me and my friends.

This is my first entry and i'm gonna introduce myself.

Hmm, I really don't know how to start.. owh, ok! We can start with my name. I'm Syazwanie Binti Salamon and majoring in Media Innovation and Management. You can call me Wanie as it's easy to say. I'm from Damansara Damai, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

I'm very excited to learn and gain something new. Hope everything will be easy for me and hope you guys will help me! I'm physically look like a haughty girl with smile-less but don't be afraid to approach me because i'm actually a friendly person.
